In 2008, most of those people (along with Ron Paul supporters) believed that either Barack Obama or Ron Paul represented the best chances for the United States to end the neverending wars overseas and to restore openness and honesty to government. While Ron Paul was smeared and blackballed by fellow candidates and mainstream media sources, Barack Obama was being hailed by all as an agent of change, and was elected as the 44th President of the United States. Jump forward two years, and it has become apparent that the slogan of "meet the new boss, same as the old boss" is befitting of President Obama, who has continued and even expanded upon George W, Bush's foreign policy overseas. In addition, our civil liberties here at home continue to erode while our country and people are at the precipes of bankruptcy and financial ruin. Ron Paul represents the people, not his political party. We need to come together and support this man by encouraging him to run in 2012 so that he can continue to educate and inspire millions and millions more Americans.
